Start with jin wei's line "new chapter of my life" when he goes to UK. Yeap, i left KL to Miri and not many people know about it, my apologies! So, my mom followed me to Miri, the reason she gave was wanted to go Miri and take a tour. I suppose she's just worried about me because this is the first time i'm traveling/staying alone in a totally new place. Am i right? No friends, relatives to help, yet.
At first, i didn't really like it when my mom said she wanted to follow me to Miri but thanks to her, i'm able to increase my check-in luggage's weight to 40kg (20+20kg), even that's not enough! Imagine what i brought, lol. Just a lot of shirts and my previous Diploma notes. People keep telling me, don't need to bring so many clothes, go Miri can buy. Well, i'm those stingy type when it comes to buying clothes, so ya, not gonna work for me.
Leaving East Malaysia, i'll miss this land for the food! Alright, my mind is always about food, food and food. I just can't stop eating. nom nom nom. Right... and my friends, family and relatives.
Reach Miri after 2 hours (3p.m). Took a good nap on the plane though there are some rough rides at certain parts due to bad weather condition. From the plane, i could see huge patch of greens, unlike KL, you see lots of buildings instead. Hmm, the first thing that reminds me of Miri Airport is.... Cambodia.
It took about 15-20 minutes ride from Miri Airport to our hotel, Imperial Palace @ Miri Town for RM26. The hotel was 4 star and facilities&services was good. We kept bugging them about Makan place around hotel. When we enter our room, i tried to google 'miri food' but there were limited choices of site. I suppose the most popular site for food should be makanmaniac. Or is there any other more reliable sites?
walao wei, no wonder the title sounds super familiar hahahaa..
