Whei Yi's Birthday

Few nights before, we had planned for wy's birthday, always sneaking into ly's house to do the plannings, wrapping up presents. Some friends even went all the way to town to buy the present and cake.

In the afternoon, went to town again since it is a weekend. Did some grocery shopping and lunch. While at Giant, i can't resist to take this picture and blog/tease about it. In Sarawak,they called the beverage - soya bean as 豆腐水 (tofu water - direct translate), which everytime i heard that i'll laugh real hard. Cause for K.L people, if u ordered 豆腐水, they will give you 1 shock / blank look (and laugh in the inside hahaha), trust me. Because 豆腐水 equals to the photo above, water to keep the tofu fresh....

After dinner, all gathered at kaiwen's house and watch movie till 10p.m? Then a small group of friends said that they are tired, so we celebrated early. Seriously, i haven't seen the cake until i opened the box, it was a mixture of 4 types of cake.

 This was actually a mistake of mine, that they wrote down in the birthday card. Instead of 一班, i wrote 一般, which one means one group and another means in general.. yes i'm a half banana.

Remember that we bought a present? It was a desk lamp which she needed. A multi desk lamp actually, with clock + pencil holder.

 Slowly reading out every piece of wishes from everyone. There was so much of 'awwww' and 'ooooo', laughter and even shyness. The best one was Raj's.

Actually, we wanted to make a surprise party at 12a.m but there's a few problems, so the plan did not work out in the end. Nevertheless, it was still a success, the main purpose is to gather everyone and celebrate right? While the Villagers left because it was already late, the Villians stayed till 12a.m and sang another birthday song!
